Ingrid Schroeder

One of the shorter lived artists to come from the mid 90's UK Trip Hop scene, she managed to release a full length lp & two 12''s 'Bee Charmer' & 'Paint it Blue' both of which i like, but it's this remix by Peshay from the Paint it Blue single that stands out best, to me it sounds like Air sat down and decided to make DnB, totally chilled.

The Third Eye Foundation

Alias of Bristol based producer Matt Elliott, who's music spans Experimental Jungle/DnB to Trip Hop & further... a lot of it is creepy/melon collie, but then you have full on rave style Jungle layered over heartbreakingly beautiful piano solo's and moans/drones, i recommend everything he's ever done, the Ici d'ailleurs releases triloy may be an easier starter for some, but grabbing all of TEF's stuff is essential too.

Erik Truffaz

Blue Note Jazz Fusion/Acid Jazz trumpeter Truffaz is often linked to Dnb/Jungle with his beat heavy compositions... while i'm not a huge fan of Nya's rapping on this, the track behind it is so amazing... this is one artist where if you like this, you'll probably dig a lot of his stuff.

Aggroman

Nasty Darkside DnB, not falling into the vast amount of samey hardcore DnB out there at the moment [of which i find there is a lot] this track uses a somewhat ethereal film score to get you floating along before it smacks you in the face with a fist of nasty breaks, top stuff off of the consistently great Aural Carnage Recordings.

ASC

Atmospheric amen break abusing DnB... heavy drop, but all very spacey & slick, straight from Inperspective Records & one of the best things i bought this year.

Throttler

Obscene DnB, over the top to an awesome degree, seriously heavy.
