S.T.Mikael

1980's Swedish Psych-Folk jams... the Visions of a Trespasser lp has stood out as one of the best instrumental albums i've heard this year.

Zia Atabi

Persian Psych-Funk jams.. this is one of the best things i've heard from Finders Keepers in ages, if you like this grab a copy of 'Pomegranates: Persian Pop, Funk and Psych of the 60's and 70's'.

Silver Apples

Classic New York Electronic Psych band, credited with being the first band from a Rock area to employ Electronics... their self titled & Contact albums are both equally as trippy as they are head bobbin'

Obsidian Pond

Manchester based Experimental group, their music is  a sort of Lo-Fi Psychedelic but with a very tribal repetition and overall Tropical/Calypso feel, they're seemingly associated with Deathbomb Arc.

Freddy K

American Psychedelic/Punk artist, this is taken from his website [He boldly touches on love, crime, drugs, prison, alcohol, homelessness, spiritual and physical warfare from a unique angle and first-hand experience.]  i can hear this perfectly in his music, like Captain Beefheart & Iggy Pop getting together, mellowing out and having a wasted jam in the same vein as the Grateful Dead, this is some of the best music i have heard in years & highly recommend everyone indulging in everything he's done, which is equally as great.

Big thanks to nightimelady again for this!

Todd Tamanend Clark

70's/80's Pennsylvania based Psychedelic Punk stuff... i'm reminded of Iggy Pop & Richard Hell but it sounds like they had a session with the Dead or Floyd, if you love kickin' back to jam music with great blues inspired riffs then this is for you.

Big thanks to nightimelady for this!

Yura Yura Teikoku

Wiki explains it best '3-piece band from Tokyo's underground music scene centered around Kōenji. They have an eclectic sound usually described as Psychedelic Pop-Punk' i found these guys through the music they did for Shion Sono's epic film 'Love Exposure' & love this track in particular for it's insane Noise/Psych/Drone bridge halfway through... so good.

Studio G Beat Group

Library labels like KPM, De Wolfe Studio, April Orchestra have been recognized for a long while now, only recently have Studio G got any real 'outside the scene' attention having had a compilation release on Trunk Records. This specific record is hard to come by, full of Psych Rock awesomeness... i spent years looking for a copy after hearing some of the tracks feature in the sexploitation film 'Deadly Weapons'  if you ever see this record buy it.

Tom Zé

Brazilian Tropicália artist often noted alongside Beefheart & Zappa, his music has everything from easy going grooves to seriously bizarre experimentation, i've posted one of his more conventional tracks, for something more strange check out 'TAKA-TÁ'... it's pretty hard to want to disagree with all the comments calling this guy a genius.

Almendra

Argentine late 60's/early 70's Rock band, even though the band are amazing... i'm mostly posting because of one man, Luis Alberto Spinetta, one of the most influentual musicians from his country and a total outsider at heart, it's worth checking into Pescado Rabioso, Invisible, Spinetta Jade & at least his earlier solo albums.

Colour Haze

Melodic Stoner Rock... like a perfect mix of Kyuss & TOOL
