Lou Courtney

American 60's/70's Funk & Soul artist, grab a copy of his recently re-released 'I'm In Need Of Love' lp.

Andrea Liuzza

Experimental Electronic Indie from Italy, he's done film scores, childrens music & sound installations... his 'Countless Ways For Pressing Flowers' is very good, fans of acts like Sigur rós should probably pay attention.

Thanks to Roxy

Wyrd Visions

Canadian Folk artist, his music at times has the same melancholy lonely feel as powerful Black Metal, which makes it hardly surprising that his sole album 'Half-Eaten Guitar' features a lovely Mayhem cover... there's nothing heavy going on here though, just atmospheric Folk strumming.

Rubbabandz

Not much info on this 95 US Rap artist, the music speaks for itself, Jazzy + Ghetto... ill shit

Top Drawer

70's American Psychedelic, their Solid Oak album was originally self released @ 500 copies, considering the quality here thats mind blowing... this is what Psych Jams are all about.

Baby Huey

Stone cold 70's Chicago Funk/Soul... his sole album The Baby Huey Story: The Living Legend was released through Curtom Records, serious sample material.

Omar-S

Switching between Deep House/Techno & keeping the tradition of Detroit Techno alive, he releases mostly through his own label FXHE Records & his '00' titled 12''s are destined to become classics.

Hecq vs. Exillion

Filthy break & bass abusing Dubstep, Hecq... a familiar artist on the Hymen label is from Germany, while Exillion who's new to me comes from San Fran, absolutely killer track.

Silver Apples

Classic New York Electronic Psych band, credited with being the first band from a Rock area to employ Electronics... their self titled & Contact albums are both equally as trippy as they are head bobbin'

Bas Lexter

Latino/Guitar/Beat from this eclectic German act, the tracks i have by them are released through the awesome Austrian label Resense [one of my favorite of recent] i cant listen to this specific track without being somewhat reminded of Santa Esmerelda from Kill Bill.

Weyheyhey!!

For my money this guys alongside Ghost as the best UK Breakcore artist around... spastic riddimz ahoy, like Snares on an Oldskool trip the production here is simply incredible. The Harlott ep is released through the epic Love Love Records net label.

James Blackshaw

Londoner Folk instrumentalist, he's been compared to has been compared to Bert Jansch, Robbie Basho, John Fahey, Jack Rose, Leo Kottke and had released through Important Records & Tompkins Square as well as his newest album 'The Glass Bead Game' which is brilliant guitar folk medleys.

Trus'me

Prime Numbers is one of those 'to look out for' labels at the moment, their owner/head mover is UK DJ/Producer Trus'me & everything he's released so far is essential... often labeled an 'edit artist' due to his heavy sampling of Funk & Soul but at the same time not sounding one to me because of his deep style, the Marvin Gaye sample used in this track is particularly awesome, this is some of the most blissful/original House music in years.

Pascal & Pearce

There's a whole scene going on in South Africa at the moment with MENTAL wonky as fuck/all over the shop House breaks, if you like artists like Hijack [which you should] then SA duo Pascal & Pearce's dutty as fuck bass abuse will be right up your alley, their Mario themed track 'Disko Biskit' is already an underground anthem but i think this video better sums up why everyone should get on this.

Fabrice Planquette

Planes, record clicks & pops, train noises, voices, natural sounds... all sorts of things blended together into zone out atmospheric soundscapes by this French experimentalist, his work is all free and released through labels such as Enough Records & CONV, Highly recommended sound collage.

Nosaj Thing

Hardly going to be an introduction to many but this LA producers unique brand of floaty Wonk/IDM style melodies are awesome... both the Views/Octopus EP & his Drift album will undoubtedly be future staples of the current Wonk/Glitch scene thats been going on.

Geeneus

UK Garage & Grime producer originally, lately moving into more Funky House territory & getting associated with Funk House heavyweights Crazy Cousinz, the sound of this is pure 90's dancefloor House anthem, cant get enough of it or the Volumes: One release on Rinse Recordings.
